It does not; Edge Functions are a runtime that exists only inside Netlify. A site genuinely built around them should stay put. When they merely handle a contact form or a similar small utility, that job moves to the built-in forms relay or a separate API, and the static site itself relocates without friction.

The models start from different promises. Netlify gives a permanent free allocation of 300 usage credits a month, shared across deploys, bandwidth, requests and compute, after which that pool becomes the constraint. What determines how many visitors Netlify's free tier can serve?expand_more
The credit pool does. There is no useful universal visitor limit, because every site transfers a different amount per visit and deploys draw from the same allowance. At 20 credits per GB and 15 credits per production deploy, a 300-credit month is consumed by traffic and release frequency together. Heavier pages and busier release cycles consume it sooner.
Is a Data Processing Addendum available from Netlify?expand_more
Netlify does provide a DPA, incorporated into its standard terms, so plan level is not the issue. Jurisdiction is: the VibeDeploy alternative puts a GDPR DPA with a Belgian processor on every paid subscription, starts at 4 euro a month, and serves sites from Belgian infrastructure under EU law.
